Here is mid-20th century America as it saw itself (and how Russian sources honestly portray it). This was the America of the New Deal… of a time when prosperity was more equally shared… of a time when when the crack-addled “conservative” Corporatist nightmare was only a demented idea found amongst a few rightwing Neoliberal cranks. Yes, Virginia… the America of the time from FDR to Carter WAS “socialistic”… and it was a happier, fairer, more honest, and more decent place than the nasty laissez faire “conservative” America of today (Ronald Reagan opened up that particular “Pandora’s Box”). You can have Henry Hintermeister or you can have Rush Limboob or Lil’ Mizz Sarah… it’s quite that simple. We didn’t need a “Department of Homeland Security” in “socialistic” New Deal America… under the “conservative” New World Order Corporatists, we do have such an Orwellian-named ministry (it sounds rather too much like Orwell’s “Ministry of Love”, doesn’t it?). There was freedom of movement and speech under the New Deal… they feel up your privates (literally) in the name of “security” and tap your phone under the “Patriot Act” in the New World Order. Ponder that…
If wanting the New Deal back makes me a “socialist”… then, I’m for “socialism”, and I’m for it PROUDLY. After all, America helped win World War II as part of the Anti-Hitler Coalition under a “socialist” government… think on that. Oh, yes… talking about that… thank a vet TODAY… they might be gone from us tomorrow…
