The coup in 1991 still elicits bitter and mixed reactions… as for me, I believe that the USSR “had” to try capitalism. That is, people had nothing to compare socialism to. It was taking one step back in the present to go two steps forward in future, as Vladimir Ilyich said. Today, people in Russia say, “They lied to us about communism, but they told us the truth about capitalism”. That’s why a new Social Democratic USSR is going to rise again… Russians now know about the corrosive lies of unbridled Neoliberal laissez-faire capitalism first-hand. Somehow, I don’t think that Michele Bachmann was thinking of that when she spoke of the “rise of the Soviet Union”… boy oh boy, is the new USSR gonna put a true fright into the rightwingers… and to think that I’ll probably live to see it… hoo boy! Pray for the souls of Vladimir Usov, Ilya Krichevsky, and Dmitri Komar… without their sacrifice, without the present interregnum, there wouldn’t be a rebirth of a new and more vigorous USSR. Without this, the USSR would have degenerated much as the USA has… reflect on that. Pray for their souls… toast their memories… their spilt blood was not shed in vain…

Note well that the Tea Party screams about invasion of privacy via government regulation, but says NOTHING about the shredding and meltdown of our freedom under the Patriot Act and the police-state Department of Homeland Insecurity… rather, they wish this pointless hellishly-expensive agency and this nakedly repressive act to continue… one wonders why…

The present tax rates on the wealthiest are HALF of those levied in the Nixon era… there were plenty of rich folks then, I seem to remember… what’s WRONG with that picture?

It’s quite simple… as Nobel Prize laureate economist Joseph Stiglitz pointed up, if the “deficit hawks” have their way, it’ll start a downward and perpetual cycle… less spending would mean lower profits for business… the Five Percenters would shed workers rather than decrease their rapacious appetites… which would lead to more spending cuts… ad infinitum.

America has to sacrifice, dontcha know… that is, everybody EXCEPT for the Five Percenters! I seem to notice that none of the loudest Neoliberal Free Marketers offer to take the slightest pay cut to save jobs. NONE. Certainly, it puts a new spin on the rants of Herman Cain, Michelle Bachmann, and Tim Pawlenty, doesn’t it?

We HAVE to cut education… we have Congressional junkets (that Michelle Bachmann takes advantage of), a generous Congressional healthcare plan (defended by John Boehner), three pointless wars (and a fourth “war-in-waiting” in Yemen), and the Department of Homeland Insecurity to pay for. We NEVER needed a “Department of Homeland Security” in the Cold War… why do we need one now? There’s no visible enemy… al Qaeda is nothing but the rightwing’s bogeyman, anyone who believes in the nonsense about the “War on Terror” deserves a long stay in a home for the feebleminded.

Despite their loud posturing, the ‘baggers are just as corrupt as the people they replaced. There’s one difference, though… the ‘baggers are dead-set against any tax hike for the rich. Their solution for the woes of the country is to lower taxes on the rich, raise taxes on wage-earners, keep all “corporate welfare” and loopholes (and even extend them further), and slash social spending to the point of ineffectualness. They’re fanatic and crackbrained disciples of Ayn Rand… Paul Ryan said so openly. You know what to do next November…

This is overblown… American cosmonauts are going to continue to go into space… on  board Russian Soyuz craft launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome! I wonder… are the American cosmonauts (the guys, anyway) going to join their Russian colleagues in their pre-flight ritual of piddlin’ on the rear tyre of the bus? Perspirin’ minds wanna know…

This result is what happened to the USA after 30 years of Neoliberal Laissez-faire “deregulation” excess. It’s time to end the Reaganite insanity… it’s time to return to the Social Market of the New Deal. The greed of the propertied classes brought on the current Great Recession… they REFUSE to shoulder ANY of the burden… their New Republican mouthpieces say so. They DO mean what they say, kids… but we can vote them out, and why don’t we?

Eric Cantor, Michelle Bachmann, Lil’ Mizz Sarah, Rush the Mouth, and Paul Ryan all manically scream that the rich won’t shoulder any of the pain of the current economic crisis if they’ve anything to say about it… and they’re serious about that, kids! It’s time to roll up the discussion and roll up our sleeves! Wanna rumble? We outnumber ya 99 to 1… I’m handing out the AKs and machetes at the back door (for self-defence purposes only, ya unnerstan’)…

Did the News of the World scandal dry up Rupert’s supply of “good luck?” Was it “a bridge too far” for him? I don’t know, but I do know that his high-handed dismissal of its entire staff in order to protect his pampered favourite pet upset the whole megillah… it was a “Jenga” moment… it looks as though his “empire” is finally good and done for. Neoliberalism’s in its spasmodic death throes… don’t forget, Murdoch was the Göbbels of that extreme rightwing ideology. Is it surprising that his media fiefdom is collapsing as the Gibichung Hall of Laissez-faire Corporatism totters with each new “emergency?”

The ‘baggers are determined to shut down the government at the behest of their oligarch paymasters. Millions will have their government cheques stopped… hmm… most of the supporters of the ‘baggers are old age pensioners dependent on Social Security benefits (polls say so). If the ‘baggers are stupid enough to reject a compromise, they’ll hurt their supporters in their bank accounts. That’s NEVER a wise move, kids… doesn’t it give you a hint that the New Republicans are ignorant and reckless braggarts? Well, if they do so, they’ll find out that the majority of Americans support the Social Market… NOT Oligarchic Despotism!

There’s a GOLDEN lining to all of this Sturm und Drang… the New Republicans are showing their true colours, and that means that most of the country will reject them. White Sectarians will still embrace them enthusiastically (that means that the New Republicans will win the American Southeast easily), for the New Republicans and American Radical Sectarianism share a similar radical, narcissistic, and anarchistic vision of society. Yes… they’re radical, narcissistic (“Jayzuss is my PERSONAL saviour”), and anarchistic. They wish a world of no government or societal regulation on greed and cupidity, where individuals are “free” to prey on others without limit, where the government reduces its role to being a toothless and whiny whore for the overclass. Do think on that…

Never forget that Michelle Bachmann is NOT a Christian… like all Sectarians, she deploys Christian verbiage, but it’s with a meaning 180 degrees removed from its usage amongst real Christians (Orthodox, Catholics, Reformation Proddies). These cultists have given Christianity a bad name; it’s time for real Christians to take them to task for it. Just remember, real Christians don’t believe in a “personal Saviour”, nor do we believe in the rightwing fantasies that masquerade as “dogma” amongst Sectarians. You can’t take a group that waffled on President Obama’s birthplace as serious individuals (Franklin Graham gave open support to the birther fanatics). However, you can’t ignore them… they’re lunatics, but they’re dangerous loonies…

The five percenters want to move your job to a country where they can brutalise and underpay their work force, then, they want to bring their ill-gotten profits back here. Furthermore, they want LOWER taxes on these profits, as they’re “productive people, and they earned them”. The Republican Party applauds this logic. This tells you whom to vote AGAINST in 2012, doesn’t it?

The “War on Terror” isn’t only an expensive boondoggle in terms of money… it’s killed more than its share of young Americans, to no good purpose. The “terrorists”… they’re not terrorists for the most part, they’re patriotic folks who’re resisting the American invasion of their homelands. They’re GOOD folks, for the most part. Don’t listen to Fox News propaganda…

The Republicans REFUSE to consider tax hikes on their wealthy constituencies… ordinary folks have to pay for the feckless irresponsibility of the five percenters. They partied hearty… now, they want to stick us with the bill. I think that there’s something wrong with that…

He fired 200 people to save the skin of his favourite… and he refused to apologise for his egregious actions. Oh… Mr Murdoch, along with the billionaire Koch brothers, is one of the main sugar daddies of the Tea Party… thought that you might like to know that…

Don’t blame rank n’ file TSA people for the nasty and invasive methods that they often use… they’re mandated by crackbrained Bush-era senior officials, who fire anyone who doesn’t follow their paranoid and wingnut instructions (they’re called “scripts” in the trade, kids). The dead of the Afghan and Iraqi Wars will accuse GWB on the last day…
