2 December 2011. Lest We Forget… There WAS A Tsunami Earlier This Year in Japan

_______________________________

It seemed only yesterday… 11 March 2011… it was one of the five most powerful earthquakes since measurement began in the early 1900s. You’ll note that the narcissistic American Corporate news media has already forgotten this… Donald Trump, Doctor Phil, Lady Gaga, and Herman Cain are of greater importance to them, it seems. Since it doesn’t sell cars or “food insurance”… it’s dropped off the radar of most Americans‘ consciousness as the media covers nothing that’ll rouse the American people out of their consumerist stupor. Yet, nearly 16,000 died, nearly 6,000 were injured, and some 3,600 are still missing. That’s not as important as selling McMansions and Beamers to the Affluent Effluent… so, its forgotten.

I haven’t forgotten… nor should you. Spare a thought for the people of Japan… they deserve it…
